If you want to keep bad guys out of your house, skip the cameras.

Get a dog. A BIG dog.

I have never worked one burglary at a house with a dog. Ever.

Definitely advisable. Also you should get a few signs saying that you have camera’s in the area. The police might be able to help you with that.

You want to have a wired system, it should work on your computer for days or weeks without replacing the recoding media. Your paying for your safely, having a fake is a really stupid thing to do. It;s your stuff, and you will never get it back unless you have the video

HIGH TECH. Ok if you are going to get cameras why get fake ones. They aren’t exactly cheap. They are not as expensive as the real thing, but well if you want to get your place protected. Get a camera system and install some cameras that can’t be seen. The smarter the people get the smarter the criminal gets. Also Dogs help A LOT. Anything that deters a criminal, adds to your benefit.
